Hardwood ironing surface for crisp edges on applique, pressing seams on paper piecing units and superior fusing to fabric. Works great as a surface for gluing or hot fix crystal application. Portable size perfect for travel, classes and retreats.
12” x 12” x ¾” Birch Plywood
When using as an ironing surface, do not use steam. The smooth wood is untreated, and steam will cause the grain of the wood to rise. If this happens, just sand smooth again with a very fine grit sandpaper.
Board can be covered with a piece of freezer paper or a Teflon applique sheet to protect the porous wood surface when using glue or fusible web.
